Our products include pasteurized eggs and poultry, pastured pork and beef, and organic produce. Our goal is to bring more flavorful and nutritious foods to your table, because you are what you eat! In addition to superior taste and higher nutritional content, our direct from our farm philosophy removes the middleman and ensures optimal freshness for our customers.

We work consciously to be good stewards of our land and our animals. This means focusing on soil quality by using compost and organic fertilizers, employing rotational grazing to prevent resource depletion, and caring for our animals in a way that honors them. We are grateful for the food they provide, and we show our gratitude by raising them as close as possible to the way nature intended.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”67″ img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_rounded”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”top”][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”68″ img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_rounded”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Keeping It Local” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]Local food security and availability is also vitally important to us, because we want as many people as possible to take advantage of the benefits that farm fresh foods offer. We also want to help other farmers gain access to new markets. As a cooperative, we can open doors for farmers, artisans and small business owners for them to gain more exposure to their products.

We are constantly on the lookout for others of like mind whose products complement ours and align with our philosophy. Located just 45 miles northwest of Chicago, Milk & Honey Farmstead is in a unique position to help our community members that are living in the ‘food deserts’, which are areas that have limited access to affordable organic, and other nutritious foods due to there being a void in this market in the areas in which they live. 1
